Hey all,
Looking for better ideas on cleaning the walls of my 10.8. The cloth is original and in need of a good cleaning. Ive used carpet cleaner and a couple of other things to no avail. Dont really want to replace it but will if someone can point me in the right direction. Ive even thought of dying before I install the new carpet. Ideas???????
Now I'll tell a story that might help someone in the furture:::: as I posted earlier I was having a problem with the push button start on the helm. All I need to say is ---check the wire to and from the transmission there may be a break or bad connection. the helm thinks the trany is in gear and wont start.
thanks in advance

I use Clorox Clean up (spray bottle) and a soft bristle brush to clean mine. I have also just purchased a can of Picorganic for mold, have not used it yet so we will see how it works later. I know one of the international owners did paint theirs , check thru the forum.

I ran across some stuff by accident that removed all but the toughest of stains.
It's called Spot Shot and I found it in a aerosol can. It is intended for removing pet stains from carpet. It's not going to be cheap at $5.50 a can to do an entire interior but I did hear that they have a non aerosol version that it cheaper by the ounce. I think I would stay away from the mildew removers because most of them contain Bleach as an active ingredient and that might discolor the material.
The only thing this stuff didn't remove from the mole hair interior bulkhead covering was paint.
I found it at Home Depot but it's also available at Ace and True Value.
Good luck.

if the material is over 12yrs old I'd swap it out , Its hard to revive cloth/carpet you can put alot of time in it and not get the results you deserve. If you could get some pics up I'd be more then willing to walk you through the install , its really not difficult when you got someone to give you all the easy outs .
