Took off the big tarp yesterday - actually it "de-tarped" itself when I had all the lines undone and a nice gust of wind came along.

Here are some pics - right now surrounded by too many boats still under cover.

Always a good time when the cover comes off for the winter - splash day can't be far off.

? how do you keep the tarp from rubbing marks in to the gel-coat ?

I used a heavy-duty plastic like tarp - like the one you see all around me in the pictures. Darn thing weighs over 70 pounds. I use a single 30' x 50' tarp (6 oz type) and always use new lines each year to tie it down tight - no flapping. That way I get no marks whatsoever.
