The prop on my F-26 is Michigan Wheel, Federal Equip Poise, Super-Cup, NiBral Bronze 14X9 Cupped R1. Engine is Chrylser LM318BWR/225hp. At best, I get 24-25 mph (GPS) at WOT, which is 4000 RPM according to specs. Not apples to apples with your boat, but hope this helps.

I own a 1976 F26 with a 350 mercruiser. I talked to a number of prop shops until i found one that seamed to realey know what they were doing.
My boat now runs, WOT 28mph, cruses at 20mph at 3200rpm and 12-14 gph with full fishing gear and 130 gal gas. The prop is a progresive pich 14" prop with an 8.25 pitch on leading edge and 10.25 pitch on trailing edge with cup. The work was done by CompuPROP in Ft Walton beach, Fl.
I don't know if this helps but it may give you something to think about.

Mine is a '78 F-26 hard top. It weighs a little over 6,000 lbs and due to the Kohler generator, 75gal fuel tank and 8ft inflatable with outboard all being at the back of the boat causes it to be a little heavy in the ass. This being said, I require plenty of torque to get out of the hole.

Here's my set up and the fresh water results:
- 350 cid @ 270hp
- 1:1 in line Velvet Drive
- 13"x 10 Dyna Jet NiBrAl Cupped (Michigan Wheel)
- Ø 1" Aquamet shaft

- 18 mph cruise @ 3500 rpm
- 26 mph WOT @ 4300 rpm
