10 meter battery charger

Is the original battery charger on 10 meter aft cabin (1983 model) a two or three bank battery charger ? I have 3 batteries in battery box.
my 1983 express cruiser had a factory 2 bank charger.
When I upgraded to the Xantrex 3 bank unit I had to add another wire run to the genny battery.
The new technology chargers of today are far better than what was installed from the factory 30 years ago.
