Prop Help

I have a 10.8 (36 feet) Meter Trojan SF with Cummins 5.9 330 HP Diesels. Does anyone run the same set up? If so What props are you running? Thanks for the help

I have 6BTA5.9s in my F32 - 225 HP / each. I run 1:1 Velvet Drives w/ 17x20 blades = 30mph max.
You must have the new Sea Water After-Cooled, 24 Valve, P7100 motors.
Couple of Rules:
1) Go with biggest diameter you can fit
2) 1 square inch of blade area per 40# weight
3) Tip Clearance 1/6-1/7 of the prop diameter, =~ 14.2 - 16.7%,, min of 10%
4) 3-blade for Speed, 4-blade for large loads (in general)

Paul , I am running 22x22 3 blades wheels with 300 hp cummins 1.53to1
gear your 330 Bs are realy 315 hp so real close to mine
I agree with Ross on boatdiesel.com
Ross the 330 is 12 valve like yours ( and mine )but has salt water aftercooler and the inline pump (p7100 ) Its realy a updated (and better) edtion of my 300

I think there is a marine 330 that is 24 valve (like the trucks).
Do you have the Lucas CAVs? I've looked at upgrades to the P7100, but these fuel pumps are $2k/each.
