The legs on my wetbar, L set and rear benches have been an issue since I bought the boat. The black factory rubber feet always left marks, some were gone and just had a screw head sticking down.

I tried different stick on and screw on HD/Lowes variety but nothing would stay on and the I continued to scratch the deck. I finally found a solution that is permanent, won't scratch or leave marks and allow you to slide things a little. It's impossible to "lift" and carry the wetbar or L seat especially if you're by yourself.

McMaster Carr - 1942K42 - SS threads with white/nylon slides, 2 3/8" wide. I used these on the wetbar and L seat, 7 of each
1942K72 - smaller version of the above w/ 1 3/16" base. I used four of each on the rear benches (total of 12).

About $175 for all of them. You'll need to drill larger hole and have the right SS nuts/washers to attach them.

My guests have been telling me the "L" bench is a rockin a bit.

I just ordered 8 large ones based on your recommendation.

I currently have the "home depot" type but was considering simply adding a layer of starboard "strips" to the bottoms, with countersunk ss fasteners.

I like the starboard idea but I wonder if I went the McMaster Car way if I could double nut the feet and use the double nuts to level everything out?

that's what I did. On one leg of my wetbar, I doubled up the nuts so it sat a little more flat. The rest I just let bottom out and bolted from the inside.

Yes, they're threaded all the way so you have some options to level if you need to.
