My 10 meter has a list to starboard I noticed while at the dock. Exhuast port bottom is at water level while the port side is clear by about 1 1/2". Noticed this last season and before I loaded gear on board it still favors that side. Not carrying any thing on that side as the tools and parts are on port side. Fuel tanks are balanced, Could it be just the design with the helm, galley and head on that side causing this. Even while running I need more tab down on this side. Had a guy that weighed 250+ stand on the port side and it leveled out. Thinking maybe adding some weight as ballast but unsure if I should.

i dont know anything about that, but after all my balance research, I to am ready to add a couple boxes for weights if need be. Really tough to figure out on land, I know what Im adding in but if i get to heavy on one side or forward/backward, im sure I will have to make up for it. Just hate to ADD weight. im sure im wrong but its something I have been thinking about

that seems to be a lot of list.

My suggestion is to get a sailboat curved bubble guage to accurately measure the list port to stbd.

You cann easily calibrate it by setting a standard bubble level on the transom and then adding some weight to then have both at zero, then remove the standard bubble level.

Now you have a reference.

I would look further, surely these vessels did not all list when new....

My F36 lists to port. Has done it since I got the boat. I can't figure it out.

My '90 MC sits exactly the same. I believe it's do to the head and galley being to starboard. Plus all the electrical and helm there too.

The port side is light with only a wet bar.

Dennis mine lists also but only about a half inch, I have the wet bar with ice maker on the port side, two spare anchors with six feet of chain and 150' of line under right rear seat, all my dock lines under port side front seat and probably 300 to 400 pounds of tools, spare parts, cords in port closet in aft cabin and have my 8hp johnson mounted on port side of swim platform.

Ready probably has it right -- ADD BEER UNTIL LEVEL (or you don't care anymore )!

I like the beer for ballast idea too. Best way to keep everything on the level.

My 11 meter sedan lists like Koviak describes. I've always assumed it was because Trojan put the two A/C compressors, the wet bar, the lower helm station and 90% of the boat's wiring on the starboard side. All tankage is down the center so the only thing to counteract the stbd weight is the galley and head on the port.

Looks like we are in the same boat! (Had to say it). Don't really drink beer so if I can convince my wife it is for pure study I will take (2) 120lb girls on each outing and see if this helps.

My Tri will list to Stbd 1.5" when water tank (100 gal. port-aft) is empty. Only takes about 30 gal. to make her right.
And I'm NOT putting 30 gals. of Rum onboard!!!

My 10 meter Mid cabin is a 1990 and has no noticeable list at all but I did install some semi permanent seats in the cockpit and there are more of them on the port side but all of the seat material I installed weighs less than 75 lbs. I don't have a generator installed yet but when I do I am thinking in the lazerete aft of the motors. I have a Kohler 6.5 with sound shield all ready to drop in as long as it will squeak in without removing an engine. I can forward pictures of the boat at the dock if you want a frame of reference.

BTW I still have the bar/ice maker/fridge combo unit on the port side which is not lite.
