Hello again to all forum members

Our next step to complete this boat will be to order a new bimini top
for our flybridge.

We already have this arch with contains all supports for that:

Question is: does somebody of yours have a similar arch and can post
any pictures ???

Cause: No idea about framing that bimini at the arch or support that below.

You may want to call a local canvas shop. They can have some great suggestions. I would think of having snaps added to the arch and pulling the canvas forward. Hard to tell how high that is from the deck in the fly bridge. You could mount it below that as well, a standard 2 bow canvas enclosure.

Why not have a hardtop instead :?:

This one uses the original steel bimini frames..

It is a simple plastic skin secured to an Aluminium box angle frame for support then connected to the original bimini steel frame. The canvas windows are fitted to the underside... it is very light and quite easy to make by any handy man.

Heiner,

Being in the top and canvas business, I'd suggest a local canvas shop, but you may not have any there?

For your boat, you need a 4-bow bimini like the picture you found above:

BUT it should fold back against the arch when not is use, then rotate forward for coverage, and be held be straps (boo) or a pair of tubes with welded end eyelet fittings (they will be in tension).

Stainless steel is preferable to aluminum, and Sunbrella is the preferred canvas material. You will need to do some customization to make a standard bimini attach to your radar arch and fold forward, but it will work nicely and look great.

I built a stainless steel arch for my F32, but have not gotten around to putting it on the boat yet. My bimini will attach to it as per above, with a couple more tricks.[/b]
