Young Family in Texas looking for a F25 or F26
We are a young family that live on the gulf coast in Texas and we are looking for a reliable and inexpensive boat with a cabin that we can use to go snorkeling and fishing safely. I really like the idea of the F26 or F25. We arent too concerned about cosmetics, but are definitely looking for safety/reliability. Does anyone know of anything that fits the bill? Bob told me to post here because you guys know your stuff. Thank you so much.

We have one in our marina for sale. It's an f-26 I think. J & S Marine 315-622-1095 ask for Jimmy. Lockview transport can run it down there for you. They're the best. http://www.lockviewmarina.com

Very welcome here Ryan
Hope you will find your boat as soon as possible.
Had just my first ride out with my daughter with a F-32 as you can see here:

By the way, we are looking for something $8000 or less, I have some prospects around $3000 and $4000 that I am hoping to go look at. Thank God for this form and for Bob!

and this one is okay even though it looks like a 1980s computer with an outdrive on it: http://www.jsmarinejim.com/100_0626[1].jpg
The Pacemaker may have a monel fuel tank which is a plus but that is an early 1970's when they where still figuring out how to use fiberglass. The 251 Chris Craft is OK too. It is very easy to work on. It doesn't ride as well as the Trojan in a chop but seemed to plane easier. The picture of the Trojan speaks for itself.
