Does anyone have the spec or owner's instruction for the removal of the fixed side (port) window immediately behind front windshield. I just replaced the front (port) side section and the glass contractor and I are unsure of how to best proceed. It would appear that the metal frame must be removed or partially removed to facilitate glass replacement. Thanks in advance.

I had all four side windows replaced and its all in the tracks. The rear windows must go forward and the tracks they ride on removed as the window is moved full forward and like wise on the the forward windows sliding aft with tracks coming up and out.

Can someone elaborate on how to properly remove the side, sliding windows (2/side = 4 total) on an F32 (assume f36 is the same)?

I need to replace one (cracked), and plan to tint all of them.

Fixed window? Other than my windsheild and two of the cockpit door panels, I don't have any fixed windows in my F-32 (1974). I did replace all of my moving glass and at first, I was stumped as to how to remove them . I ended up sliding the plastic tracks off by moving all the glass to one side then lifting and sliding the strips out of the channels (from under and over the glass). Once the upper and lower strips are removed, the glass can be lifted enough to clear the lower track and tilted out. I don't know if this is the correct way to do this but it's how I did it.

I see. I think by "fixed" he meant the non-moving glass on each side, which includes the large forward piece and the piece just beind the verticals. You're saying both of these can be moved, after the plastic tracks have been slid out?

I'll give it a try next weekend.
