Trojan's 1980's Font - Star Trek....REALLY?

Inquiring minds have advised me that the Trojan Font, specifically as it relates to the International Series in the 1980's is based on the Star Trek Font.

Now that it is time to repair/replace some of the International decals on my vessel in vinyl, can anyone address this issue?

Is it REALLY the Star Trek font,,,,, or something else?

Inquiring minds.....

Analysis?

you bet ya i know!!! see how much fun it is to have a star trek weenie among the group!! i've done research on this before when i was looking up something for a friend of mine. if the trojan international font is based on 'federation standard' or microgamma bold extended, then it is a variation on it.

please find attached, the history of 'federation standard'. ENJOY.... ENJOY!!
