10 meter windshield washers

Last weekend I had water weep out of the washers and stain the bow with rust stains .Washers where turned off at the breakers. I take it that the water must come from the fresh water tank. Where is the solinoid or pump. How do the washers work I have never used them.

I had the same problem but I have a 10m so location references might be off.
The solenoid was behind the VHF radio, stb side of the helm. I was able to take it apart and lubricate so it works again.
Mine failed completely so washers were spraying constantly with no way to stop short of turning off the pump. For that reason, I installed a shut off valve behind the trash can in the galley. I'm not sure what I would have done if I was away if this happened. HD/lowes sell the correct fittings (watts).
