see how much fun it is to have a star trek weenie among the group!! i've done research on this before when i was looking up something for a friend of mine. if the trojan international font is based on 'federation standard' or microgamma bold extended, then it is a variation on it.

please find attached, the history of 'federation standard'. ENJOY.... ENJOY!!

btw... i even know the predeparture check list that is heard in the back ground from wrath of khan. you know, the one that begins with...''mainstage flux chillers port, mainstage flux chillers starboard".....

i'm stumped on that too. i suspect that it was something designed in house by the design department. if you have a print shop, or a sign shop in your area, take the plate with you and maybe they can cross reference the typeface and give you an answer. the wordmark has to have some official name to it. have you tried asking beacon bob? maybe he might know.

the wordmark is the same on my boat. i'm thinking it was an ''80's'' thing.
