I was poking around online tonight and came across this:

http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1988/Tr ... ted-States

I thought it a bit odd as I bought this boat over two years ago and from a different broker.

I imagine they aren't getting many calls on it. Should I let them know?

I have heard of brokers doing this to make look like they have more boats .

Also scamers will do it also But I don't think sacmers use yacht world . I would send them a email asking when you can look at it and see what they say .

There have been some scams going on down here. Some guy was trying to sell a 115 ft yacht about 3 months ago and almost got away with 150K. I would call them and let them know that you are the owner and the boat is not for sale.

We've had this discussion before, yes it happens alot. I would call them, ask them for a copy of the HIN and current pictures of the vessel, inside and out....play with them for a bit, then let the cat out of the bag.

Is that the company you bought the boat from? If so, it could be that they just haven't purged the sale areas, I have seen this with many brokers, they list it on all kinds of sites, and then forget to take them down. Could be completely innocent.

It was not the same broker I bought it from. I also didn't pay anything close to that price.

I sent them a message via the website to let them know it's not been for sale for a while.

I haven't heard anything back.
