just so I'm not hijacking the other thread, Ill put it here thanks for the well wishers in torcans thread. My heart tends to run away on me (up to 200 beats per min) and after 5 trips to hospital and 1 real nasty one in which paramedics stopped my heart twice (don't try THAT at home kids) I am having minor heart surgery in which through my neck, groin and arm they go in with cameras and other toys to fix my heart from the inside (abalation)
title of post refers to my wifes comment that I am a heartless bastard! but I now have medical proof that she was wrong!
no work for 10 days (yay!) not sure of boating (boo)
should be released Fri, gotta go as docs say no eating/ drinking after midnight.... its 11:56 and still got over half a beer!!!!
gotta go! talk soon!

Dave, what a bummer! the anxiety of waiting for the procedure is almost worse than the procedure itself!
best of luck and enjoy a few days on your but. I am already going stir crazy and am trying to fend off emails from work.....

Hi Dave - best wishes also from Germany
Take your time to slow down and never forget your pills against blood pressure (like me).
My heartbeats are also too fast, but now I'm working just 6 hours/day until I get better terms.
Doc says: boating is medicine
