I am hoping to find one of our forum members who is in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area who would be willing to do a preliminary look-see at a boat I am considering.

Since you are closer than RWS, you would be the logical one to go and I appreciate your willingness to help.

RWS I appreciate your willingness to help also.

The boat is at:

Galati Yachts
12030 Gandy Blvd N.
St. Petersburg, FL 33702 United States
Toll-free 866-365-0705
Tel (727) 576-8336

The boat I need someone to look at and make sure it is in the same condition as the photographs is at the link below. It's not a Trojan, but I'm getting ready to retire and live aboard a boat and am considering this one. If your evaluation is positive, I plan to fly down in a couple weeks myself.

The broker needs a day's notice to show the boat. Let me know if and when you want to go. The broker's name is on the listing. I emailed him and said I was trying to get someone to do a preliminary viewing and he is OK with that.

Thanks for your interest Aaron and hope you're able to get back to work as soon as you feel comfortable doing so. Remember what I told you my friend.

Hoping the Roamer is as nice as she looks.

Hi Gary - hope your summer went well. Mine is out getting repaired from storm damage to the bow. She's out for the season so will miss the final few weeks.

Just looking at this point as I am getting ready to retire and move aboard. She seems to be in pretty good shape if the photos are recent.

Was hoping to get over & see you guys this summer but never had a chance.

Stay in touch.

I will try and get down to see the boat. It will probably have to be after 6pm as I am not having a day off for almost 2 weeks. I will let you know before I go.

Don't feel in a hurry to go. Please go at your leisure. It will be a couple weeks or more before I can go myself. I'm just thankful that you are willing and will gladly pay for your expenses if you'll let me know what they are.

well...

no grass to cut...

but I imagine based on her size

the number of systems

and the age of those systems

i can imagine there are endless "projects" here to keep you busy for the rest of your life.

Still,

could be fun and satisfying.

...and out of my wife's hair. Hey, with my own never-ending project list, maybe I wont have to deal with a "honey-do" list.
