I see that some pepole have put opening ports into the existing windows of the f32. has any one tryed to put ports in to the the upper parts of the cabin where it comes above the gunwales??? not much room but there are small opening ports that would fit in that place on both sides of the boat and i think it would look nice too

you mean the small forward cabin 'bump'? while it sounds good in theory, remember, there is always a potential for water intrusion and balsa core damage. i'd also wonder about structural integrity of that area if port lights were added.

thanks for the feedback I agree when ever you cut in the deck or cabin you've gote seal her up good. as far as structural integrity yes if you wher just cutting a hole you would be taking away, but with the addition of the port you will be addind back some support with that inmind added to I'm not goina be usin big long ports makes me think that the structure will not be compromised or be a problem,

You can do what you want with your own boat (as long as your insurance company is cool with it), but most of the guys with the 25's and 26's that have the factory windows there will tell you the horror stories with the leaks and trying to figure out where they came from.
