As a lot of you know, we bought this F-32 about two years ago and have since put a lot of time, effort and money into her. We bought the boat very cheap from a guy who was essentially about to lose it to the bank.

After buying the boat, we started the clean up by removing a lot of stuff, and then cleaning all of the teak, inside and out, I replaced the swim step with a teak one, reupholstered the Flybridge seats, the dinette seats and all of the soft panels inside, dinette & forward cabin and built a custom sofa to solve two issues, one, the one in it was dirty and ugly and two, sliding it back and forth to access the port engine. and new curtains

I repowered with inline sixes and lower HP but considerably better fuel economy, we cleaned and painted the bilges and built stainless drips pans for the enignes
I replumbed all of the holding tank and head plumbing

I replaced the galley and head counter tops with corian and new deep sinks and a new refrigerator.
I'll haul the boat this spring and have the bottom painted and replace the engine intake thru hulls and fill in all other underwated opeings.

I just ordered 20 yards of Navy Sunbrella and will make a new bimini, a fly bridge cover and covers for the pulpit and hand rail at the cockpit

thanks for the nice words, I know that I love to see photos of everyone elses projects and progress and wanted to share mine. theres a lot of truth in the old saying a picture is worth a thousand words.

Aaron, I plan to make my bimini by using my old bimini canvas as a pattern, I'll be ok with the results and my "non-professional sewing" results, however you may not.

believe me, sewing results does not matter to me. the bimini is high enough that no one can see anyway. as long as it fits, looks okay and is waterproof, that's okay with me.

We got some early rain this weekend so I managed to check another project off the list

I replaced the foil faced foam on the underside of the engine hatches with stainless panels I hade made when I had the galley back splashes made up.
I also added boxes to the two center hatches, filled them with foam and covered them with stainless panels as well. they certainly feel more substantial, and when I turned the boat around last night, the engine noise is definately dampened, however, the engine compartment does not appear to have had any original design for noise control, the bulkeads fore and aft and salon deck above the fuel tanks are just a piece of plywood.

either way the sound is dampened and the hatches, I must say myself, look pretty good ! I guess I should have cleaned the finger prints before taking the photos....

Here are the center hatches, you can see the foam the PO had installed by using a couple of screws and galvanized nails driven in just far enough to hold the foam in place - the under side of the the two big hatches were the same. I did fill the voids in all of the hatches with foam but it is no longer exposed.
