WHAT yEAR ARE THESE 270S

I am repowering the old girl, I have a local marine dealer who has been around for decades and one of the largest marine facilities on Puget Sound. He has 2 Complete Crusaders 350 XL 270 HP Fuel Injected with velvet drives and claims there is only 300 hrs on them for 10,000 for both with tranies. But he is haveing a hard time telling what year they are. They look tobe in perfect shape. can anyone tell me how to identify the year.[/img]

There should be a tag on them with the S/N crusader can tell you what year from them .
age is just as important as hours ,in fact age will do in more engines then hours .
10 k seems kind of high to me for used engines .
why where they removed from the boat ??
