Trojan Boat Forum

Had a nice run on Time Warp yesterday. Weather was nice, about 70. My neighbor was off and we decided to take a run for gas and lunch. Boat hadn't left the dock for several months and really need the bottom scrubed off some. Boat ran perfect and we had a great day. 3200rpm gave about 19-20 knots. Neighbor bought lunch and I bought gas...ouch! Paid $4.67gal on the water, actually better than I thought it would be. Next project is the spring oil change, engines hold about 7 qts and have 2 oil filter each so it takes some time......about 3 beers worth of time......looking forward to spring and summer!.........John

Makes me laugh everytime I see that. It takes me back to a fellow from Arizona that was doing the Great Loop and came through our system in the Summer of 2011. I did some work for him and he couldn't believe that our fuel was over $4 a gallon. I told him to expect the same prices in the States by 2013. He was so against the idea of that happening so soon.
