Anyone have the dimension for the cupboard to counter on an F-32? Trying to find a small coffee maker that will fit and the boat is 325 miles away!
Thanks!

It would have to be real short... I have to store my Black & Decker elsewhere.... Note the kettle (small) in this picture just fits, look at the bottles of olive oil etc: Not really much IMO..

I'm going to guess 10". The coffee maker in the photo below measures 9" tall.

Nice galley Nancy! ;)

I use the same model as shown in Nancy's picture but in white. 4 cup Mr. Coffee. Fits nice in that spot. Its for guests though. We drink the good stuff out of the french press.

Heres a quality boat safe press. Comes in two sizes.

With no generator on the Albin, I've been looking for a better way to make coffee than simple drip.

A while back, I got a Bialetti expresso maker - http://www.amazon.com/Bialetti-4-Cup-St ... musa+4-cup - yikes, the price has increased $15 in 17 months! I really like it, but it's too strong for John.

So I recently grabbed this French press - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004 ... UTF8&psc=1. It makes a really nice cup of coffee. The insulated container makes all kinds of sense to me. Who wants cold coffee? Ugh. I see you and I think alike on this, Michael H.

But ooo, now I'm intrigued by the Aeropress. Might need one of those, too! Such rave reviews on Amazon. This is a sickness, I tell you! And I'm not even a big coffee drinker. But when I drink it, I want it to taste really good.

Nancy,
The Aeropress makes very good tasting espresso coffee..... I get espresso grind coffee.
I find it tastes better than the lower priced machines, IMO only bested by high priced Pro machines.

Let me know what you think about the coffee it makes.

Only the best way to make coffee . Yes I use a drip coffee maker at home but on the boat no way .

Oh, like gramma used to put on the woodstove. Duh, silly me.

All I could think of was a faulty septic tank. Evidently thats not the percolator you were talking about though.

You still have septic tanks like Fred Flintstone ? Never had good coffee  ? And no coffee when camping ?? That I could not deal with .
