Not Cummins . they are pre Cummins . ....................
I would agree, I topped out at 22 knots with the 165's running light and at 1800 I could cruise at 12 knots all day long. they may have stepped down the props out of fear of breaking a shaft or simply have the wrong props, I believe the VM motori / mercruiser diesels are high RPM enginesjav wrote:12-16 knots is slow for twin 180hp diesels... it's a terrible operating speed for the F-32 as it's right on the hump.
My F32 with twin 200's cruises at a solid 20 knots and tops out at 24 knots loaded so something doesn't seem quite right about those numbers.
While $60k seems unrealistically optomistic, so does $10k seem unrealistically low for a twin diesel F32... even with merccruisers.
