ENTERPRISE COMES TO LIFE.......

dewinterized the engines and genset yesterday and the engines fired right up after their short nap. the genset needed some coaxing, but, after a while she fired up. that vintage onan is in desperate need of a tune up. hey mike kulp----would you lend me your skill and expertise? water flow looked great from all three outlets, laser temp for the discharge water read 68 degrees for the engines, and 66 for the genset. manifolds were cool to the touch and they sounded great!!! engaged the transmissions port and starboard alternating fwd and rev p/s to get them exercised. voltage held steady at 13+V, water temp showed 130, oil pressure p/s just shy of 60. it was good to hear her come to life. now i cannot wait to give her a good scrubbing down and a coat of wax on the cabin top. i also dewinterized the a/c system but did not turn on the compressors, just let the water flow through the system. good flow there i might add.
