I am looking into purchasing a swim platform for my 1978 F-32. Does anyone have a source for purchasing a teak swim platform or a synthetic teak platform. I am in Michigan so this will be a spring pre-launch project.

I don't know of a source but it would be a cool project. I dont think it would be too difficult... just strips, threaded rod and some rub rail stock. I wonder how that artificial decking material (like trex) would hod up to marine use?

A guy in our marina made one from trex 2-3 years ago. Looks today like the day it was made, but is sags between supports. If you added a extra transom support between the orginals, it would likely hold up much better. Check out these products
http://www.plasteak.com/osc/ It has a closer color to teak / mahogany.

Thanks. I bought it in Jan 07. I've been a Chris Craft guy for many years but I found this boat last summer in dry dock. Did some research, found this site. JuiceClark answered a couple of questions that help seal its fate and I picked it up. It was a lot of work, but we had a great summer on the boat. Can't wait to splash it in again late April 08. Bad thing about Minnesota, only 5 months of good boating. Here are some more pictures.

PS, we don't miss the Chris Craft at all

Wow - we have family (2 gens back) from the Lake Pepin area - very nice (in Spring/Summer).
Boat looks alot like Juices! Is it Navy or Black?

Interlux Navy Blue, I think the same as Juice's. He warned me about keeping it clean. Even in fresh water, the dark blue is high maintenance, but an eye catcher. What part of FL are you at? Mom lives in Ft Pierce, other family in Ft Meyers. Just curious.
Not in FL
