Nice looking boat. I really like the tricabins.

I fixed the link. A great looking boat! Just moved mine to within sight of Aaron's tricab. He'll be jealous every time he walks by. What year is she? Where is she kept? etc... Please do share.

Thanks! I was just going in to do that. Tried to post the image from my phone, this afternoon...didn't work so well
Impulsive is a 1979 Tricabin, with twin 255 Mercs. Right now, she lays at Sturgeon Lake Marina on Sturgeon Lake in the Kawarthas area in Central Ontario. It was a great feeling firing up the engines and driving off the trailer. Last out, first in. Lots of envious eyes at the marina today :D
A couple of minor issues to work out: Port side engine runs about 150, port side prop needs to have the packing nut tightened a notch, and the port side impeller casing seems to be weeping. Starboard all seems pretty good, though

Nice Tri, I splashed Friday. The Chryslers ran fine and smooth which surprised me as they had been sitting since October 2010 :!:
Only problem was I snapped end off shifter cable for Starboard engine backing off trailer at ramp.... didn't know I could move that fast down the ladder to lower helm to regain control, glad I only had the perforated windshield cover on.

The Chyrsler 318 is probably the best boat engine ever made. It's a shame Chrysler had to stop making them because of their financial problems. My 1971 Chysler 318 (rebuilt 6 years ago) still purrs like it loves to run.
