78 F32 fuel fill deck plates

Does anyone know if the deck fuel fills on a 78 F-32 are straight or angled? I am changing the fill hoses on mine and would like to change the deck plates at the same time but I'm not sure if they are straight or angled. Don't want to order the wrong ones. They are tough to get to so I would like to have the new ones before I pull the old ones out so as not to get anything in the tanks (i.e.rain).
Thanks!

I have 4 in my '78 F-32. They are all the non-angled variety. I'm pretty sure you can confirm this for yourself if you open one up and look in there with a light.

Yes I have four also and I think they are straight but was looking for conformation. The boat is about a half hour away and was hoping to not have to run up before ordering but... guess I'll be taking a little road trip tomorrow after work just to be sure. Thanks for the info.

Rear fuel 60 gals. Front fuel 50 gals. Water 40 gals. All of those numbers assume factory sized tanks.

I could snap a pic for you if you want. The only reason I mentioned checking yours was in case someone had made changes along the way.

Rear under the cockpit deck, outboard of the water tank. Front under the gunwales outboard of the engines.

Mine are straight but made out of pipe and hose, not just hose, and my pipe and fitting is grounded to the tank. I think if you change over to just hose you will need to get a deck fitting that you can connect a ground wire to.

Yes mine are the same. I'm just replacing the hoses because of deterioration. Hoping the pipes are in good shape and don't need replacing...they do have copper bonding straps on all 4 tanks (fills).

Thanks Commission Point that would be great as long as you don't have to go out of you way to do so. I think mine are original but you never know.

Mine is a 77 and when I replaced the tanks last year the pipe was in pretty bad shape. There was no doubt they were original. I went with all hose and I'm glad I did, one less thing to worry about.

No worries. My boats are at my house. Out of the way is across the lawn, so no big deal there. I am gonna go cook dinner on her and take a cruise later. I'll get you some pics.

I'm jealous! Much appreciated. By the way I have to say I love it up in your neck of the woods. We used to do a lot of camping up on Lake George out on the islands until we got a bigger boat and could no longer trailer it up there. What a great place.

So far my tanks seem to be in pretty good shape. I syphoned them out earlier this spring and not to bad... A little sand and very little rust. I'll definitely get rid of the pipes when I replace the tanks but for now I'm just doing the hoses barring any unforeseen problems.
