AN ANNIVERSARY OF SORTS....

gentlemen, and ladies. today, tuesday the 11th, marks the 9th month since ending chemo and radiation. it's been a battle as you all know, and i've got more ahead, but, today, i'm actually feeling 'okay', which, under any circumstances, i will take. i was down on the boat this afternoon, giving her a bath and just putzing around doing nothing, and hoisting a newcastle brown ale to, hopefully, calm seas ahead. and i could not have had a better day. and you know what? i firmly believe it is because of the companionship and support of you fine folks here at TB.NET. i thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Aaron,
Congrats but just remember there will be many more to come! Your strength through the entire ordeal has been very inspirational! My mother is a breast cancer survivor so I realize what you have endured. Just remember everyone here on the site will be here cheering for you on your future anniversary's to come!
Speaking of Anniversary's , wife lovely wife has endured me for 14 years as of today!
take care of yourself and enjoy that boat!

mazel tov on your 14th. she's a good sport for enduring the boats refit. was she not the one dressed in a hazmat suit?

Thank You sir! Yes that's her. She's also the one who told me 6 months ago to "do whatever it takes " to get her boat back in the water! Had a "0" balance on the credit card at that time, just showed her the 14k bill last week and she said to "make sure I get the new AC ordered while its on sale!"
That is why I have been married for 14 yrs!!!!

i love it... her boat. and you better make her comfortable with that new AC unit. mike did the same for his admiral.

Nice Aaron. 9 months is great! Glad to hear things are going well, and you are feeing well enough to play around on the boat. Have you had a chance to get her out yet?
