I was perusing thehulltruth this morning and read this sad news about TABMAN. He reportedly had a brain aneurysm.

TABMAN has helped a lot of folks here. My thoughts are with him.

That is very scary. it is basically what I went thru back on Apr3rd of this year. I am still recovering from it all. It is very scary to hear what I went thru and don't remember half of the hospital stay. I feel for his family and pray and hope he recovers fully.

I read later posts on THT and below is what I found;

Friends of Tabman,

I'm Thomas and I work for Bennett Marine in the Client Service Department.

We wanted to let everyone know how Tabman was doing without infringing on the families privacy. Tabman is currently awake and fairly coherent. He is eating and having regular physical therapy at this time, but he still has a very long road of recovery in front of him.

The family understands how loved and cherished Tabman is in the marine industry and they "Thank You" all for the words of comfort & encouragement they have received. Tabman currently isn't able to receive any flowers &/or gifts, but we will keep you informed of any changes in that situation in the future.

Our prayers are with Tabman and his family for a quick & full recovery.

Sincerely,

Regards,

M.J. Thomas

This is great news. When your health suddenly heads south and you find yourself flat on your back and not in control of whats happening to you , it can be a very scary thing. We wish Tabman a speedy recovery.

Tom helped me with numerous e-mail exchanges, followed up by a personal visit at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in 2003. We ran the data on my boat and increased the length of the tabs and added drop fins.

This made a huge performance difference with the (then) Crusader 454's.

His time spent and personal attention to the detail resulted in the improvement far better than what the factory had.

Subsequently, sharing this information has helped numerous other Trojan 10 Meter owners as well.

Best wishes to Tabman Tom McGow for a full and speedy recovery!
