I don't often repost these, but this vessel has clearly been exceptionally maintained and received all new paint and canvas and really shows well in the photos.

Interesting treatment of the galley backsplash and wood floors.

that's not teal. it's more 'sea foam' in tonal qualities and hue. teal is slightly darker. either way, it's a nice color for the water line. not quite sure about the galley backsplash though. she is a nice looking example of the fly bridge international.

NO! NO! NO! Prowlerfish that is my post! I'm within 50 feet of them right now. I asked him as a courtesy to other people on the dock if he would switch the stern lines (the teal ones) with the bow lines (which are white) so we wouldn't have to look at them, but nooooooo.

I have a suggestion: the next Trojan Boater of the Year awardee should get an honorarium. Charge everyone $1 to vote, and give the proceeds to the selectee. I already vote for Aaron. Where can I send my $1?

Aaron - you know that if we we didn't love you, that we wouldn't tease you, right? By the way, where is your anchor?????

FOR 5 THOUSAND YEARS MY PEOPLE HAVE SUFFERED. WHAT'S A LITTLE HARMLESS RIBBING, RIGHT?
(and yes, i have a few other 'cards' i can toss on the table if you're interested........care to guess which ones? perry, i will gladly partake of same at parkside later today if you are around. perhaps over a newcastle brown ale?)

white bow lines? how droll. which boat are you looking at? my bow lines are dark blue. they came with the boat. and yes, they will be swapped out eventually. maybe for 'jungle red'. or 'tangy tangerine' or 'hedda lettuce green'. and how do you know my anchor is missing? have you been on the ENTERPRISE up to no good? marty, of LADY SPALDING 2 fame, has had it since last september putting on a new 'finish' whatever the heck that means. not sure if he's powder coating it or adding epoxy paint, either way, he volunteered to spruce it up for me. i'm still waiting for it to be finished. besides, like i do any anchoring out now anyway. i just don't have the sheckels for a new/spare one. johns hopkins billing department is taking care of most of my spare change these days.
oh, perry, i understand that the lady aboard 'ISLAND EXPRESS' is going to be using her aft deck----ALL WEEKEND LONG BUDDY. ALL WEEKEND LONG!!! <<get out your wine glass perry. and your ear plugs!!!>>
btw..... have you caught that dastardly tri cabin mouse yet? i believe it was, oh, me that went looking for said rodent one day? hmmmmmmm? in all seriousness, has it been caught yet? i imagine the wife is looking into every locker and drawer for it. me thinks it migrated aboard while you were on the hard at sue island last year for the refit.

OY.... port side.... one spring is dark blue, the other white. starboard is white. anchorless anchor line is the obligatory rubber coated chain, 12', then the line itself is 'schmutz off white'. anything else? and, i'm not sure what color the anchor will end up as marty has not finished it.

"obligatory rubber coated chain "

That needs to go asap Coated chain should never be used in salt water . get a good Galvanized ( or S.S. ) chain . The proplem with coated chain is it will rust away and you will not know it . That is until it breaks . It has no place on a real boat.
