new Trojan owner with LOTS of question
Hello All, I have been reading many of your threads for quite some time now but as I have more and more specific question I have the harder it is to find the answer. I figured now was a good time to join the group! The brief back story is that my wife and I moved From Maryland to South Carolina a few years ago and our parents are slowly but surely following us down the coast. then next step it to get my Father-in-laws F-26 fly bridge from the Chesapeake bay down to the Charleston harbor. the boat is in great shape and the motor was rebuilt and the wiring was redone last year. For time and money reasons we have decided to have it transported down as apposed to attempting 'the ditch". Here is where my question comes in, does anyone have a good experience with a boat transport company? so far the best price I have received is right at $2,000 all in. Also in order to get a better estimate does anyone have a standing height for the boat, I have not been about to find a exact measurement online and I'd hate to ask my Father-in-law to climb up there and measure it. Thanks Yall!
