I have bow cushions on my 11M. I've had them since I bought the boat 2 years ago, and just had replacement cushions made. The new cushions are a bit shorter than the 8 ft cushions I had. I also have a modified tie down system for the new cushions, using a track on the forward end instead of snaps that fail.

Pictures of 10M bow cushions would be great. I have the indents and snaps on mine, but no bow cushions. Would love to see the size/shape of them.

Mine are held on with straps. This is the best picture I could find.

Cool, thanks! I thought the cushions must have a flap along either side to snap into the deck snaps. Using a strap looks much easier. I never would have thought it was that way.

My previous bow cushions had tabs sewn into the sides of the cushion that snapped into stainless snaps on the deck. The problem with the system is the tabs kept ripping at the seam on the side of the cushions. Here is a pic of the previous cushions.

My new cushions have a different attachment system. I have a 'rail' mounted to the deck on the forward end of the cushions to hold them down onto the deck and prevent them from blowing off the deck.

On the aft end of the cushions I have turn snaps located under the edge of the cushions.

The new cushions are not as long as the previous cushions because the 7-1/2 foot cushions were too hard to stow. New cushions are approx. 6 feet long. They have sunbrella on top and a mesh fabric on the bottom to allow for rain to drain through.

Hope this helps give you some ideas.

Nice! I don't have the stainless rails around where the cushions go. Did you add those as well?
So the front of the cushions are screwed in permanently?

The front of the cushions have a cord sewn in to the seam that slides into the grooved rail attached to the deck. The cushions are easily removed. The rails around the cushions were installed by PO.

BlueBell,

I know it is an old post but do you remember who did your bow cushions? Perhaps they still have the templete. The wife wants them ASAP!

Happy wife, happy boater.

THanks.

I bought one of those Sailrite walking foot sewing machines and made my own dinette cushions. Custom cushions are really not that hard if you are the least bit handy. How is the summer down under? It is about 14 F outside now. I know that even some of our friends from Florida envy us in the Northeast......
