Door lock

Anyway to pull the sliding door lock out of the door? Don't have the key and would like to pull it and take it to a lock smith. My guess is it will take a lock smith to pull the cylinder to get the lock out though. Any other tricks?

There is a screw on the end of the door you must unscrew and you can unscrew the lock cylinder. Take it to a lock shop and they can make new keys or just replace the cylinder.

Yep, I took my mortise lock out in a few minutes and replaced it with a new key. Simple.
