I am talking to a guy who has a F-28 sedan, with a single big block. I like the Idea of one engine but am nost sure if there is enough grunt. I am not concerned about top speed, but would like to be able to get on plane with a few people on board. Anyone have anyone experience, thanks.

I really don't think you'll have any issues with it getting on plane. I'm guessing it has trim tabs on it.

28' inboard with single big block should plane out fine if the engines is running properly, and the correct props are installed.

Don't buy without:
a) professional survey including
b) sea trial!

Yes I am told it has tabs. He stated about 15kts cruise on plane and 8-9 not on plane.

You'll need tabs

You'll need tabs for sure - what does it weigh - 8-10,000 #?
