bob at beacon marine recommended that i post this here to try and find a set or just one valve cover for a chrysler 440
only needing one but will buy a set if need be
any help would be greatly appreciated

Local junk yards , 440 was used ina lot of cars and trucks in the 60-70s . And there is good old ebay

Let me check this am I gave a bunch of 440 parts to a fella down the road as he has a hatteras with twin 440 in the them. I'm almost positive he has the valve covers of mine as well. If he's willing to give them back you can have them for the shipping costs. they came off a 440 marine engine that someone tried stuffing in my f26

ok the fella down the road ans his email. he said he did have them , he cleaned and painted them already and said he will be back in the area in week and a half. if you can wait that long I'll get them . I'll explain and see if he wants a couple bucks for time spent cleaning/painting but probably wont . if he gives them back without charging me , again you can have them for the price to ship. hope this helps

I got the valve covers back tonight, the fella that had them did bring them over , they look like new as he cleaned/sanded/ and painted them up nice. He dropped them off wrapped in shipping paper and a fresh new box. do you still need them ?
