I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving Holiday, I already have the Christmas lights up on Silver Lining , I love this time of year!

I passed a couple on an Egg Harbor on the way to the boat to put up the lights and they said "decorating already ? I said yes, our new boat (to us) included these really tall flag poles and I wanted to hang lights from them, he looked at me with scorn and said, those aren't flag poles, they're out riggers for fishing, I smiled and looked him in the eye and said, I'll bet you your boat that you have flown more flags from your outriggers than you have ever fished from them, he frowned and turned away! of course I said "Merry Christmas!!! "

I always wondered what those things were for... Now I know that they are used to hang Christmas lights. I also suppose you could hang out some laundry to dry. Our river here froze over two nights ago, so we will not be decorating the boat for Christmas. Have a great holiday and don't show too many photos of your boat in the water now or else we in the frozen north will get jealous.

I like the photo's, keep them coming!!

The number here in MN is 6

It was the temp this morning when I woke up ( that's right -14.4C for our friends to the north)

It is also the number of Months before I can splash.

Actually, I NEED the photo's, they give me hope!
