I wanted to cover a discolored spot on my galley wall (from a PO's framed pic) and came up with this.
It started as a rough draft, but turned out ok so I'm framing it. There is a glaring flaw (at least one) but it is what it is...
Thanks everyone!
I do like the way it turned out but I really can't wait to cover the dark spot on the wall. It's really buggin me. I just refinished all the wood on the interior and I couldn't even out that spot.
Anyway if there's a real interest in this maybe we could work something out?
I don't know what the forum rules are about that kind of stuff.
my understanding is if Your doing something for the group that beacon don't sell and its not for profit its ok with permission , check with the mod.
But this something you should make some money as it takes your time , I would throw a price out there and if there is interest buy a ad . I for one am very interested . I bet you could sell a good amount depending on the cost .

okay, i need to chime in on this one before i head out on a 3 day east coast trip. i think for us trojan lovers, there is a clear interest here, no matter what model we own. this kind of talent is rare, and i'm humbled that you are part of this amazing group.
i, for one, would LOVE to see something like this for my boat, showing all 5 versions of the tri cabin. the tri came in 3 different versions, over it's production run from 1969 until 1987. though the exterior on versions 1 & 2 were slight variations (aft cockpit models) , version 3, had 3 port lights for the aft stateroom and the salon side windows were a new style too (bottom aft portion angled up towards the stern)...this was the first 'flush deck' model. version 4 and 5 had minor changes exterior wise, the 5th having an angle for the aft portion of the helm windshields port and starboard side panel. also, version 5, the end of the model run, had a 'shorter' salon window frame forward, and larger (deeper) aft cabin window frames along with the circular t.v. antennae on the cabin top.
so yeah, i would be interested in maybe looking into this further. who's with me?

Ok guys. I sent Don a text to see about the forum rules and advertising. So once I get that info I'll put together a pricing structure and we'll see if this is something we all want to do. I'm not looking to retire on it, but I also don't want to do it for nothing.
I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.
