Anyone know where I can get one. The one had had no key.
Its a low profile and a very tight fit.

Check with Bob at Beacon, however I believe it is just an off / on / momentary 3 position toggle switch. I have the same in my F26

I had to replace my ignition switch on my 1978 F-26. When I removed it from the helm it was a Cole Hersey brand, I found a replacement on West Marine web site. Lucky my local west marine store had it in stock.

My boat has push button ignition switches. I've always wondered if this was the stock set up. Anyone know?
I turn off the circuit breakers and lock the breaker cabinet, but that isn't really that much security.

I have always assumed that my setup was original stock. It is the toggle switch that is circled.
My line of thought is this is just as secure as a Key setup, all the key switch does is force a theif to take out four screws and twist a couple of wires together.

Hi,
Can anyone advise where I can get replacement ignition switches for my 1977 Trojan F30 Flybridge Express? I managed to snap off the white plastic toggle on my port engine switch last summer.

I would like to replace both switches with metal ones. As far as I can tell they are off/on/mom switches with four paddle connections on the rear. I rigged up a temporary fix by inserting a small screw into the front face of the switch which works for now. Photos attached.
Many Thanks, Rob

take your switch go to a "GOOD lock and key shop" they can make you a new key using several different methods. It will be a lot cheaper than the whole switch. Do not ever, ever have keys cut at home depot etc, their machines are rarely checked for accuracy and adjusted. You may have to hunt for a GOOD locksmith but they can do it. I got them for ignition, companionway locks etc.

I don't believe they are "key" switches

Okay the author said it had no key. I assumed key was lost. He just needs a common off-on-momentary switch, should be easy to find.r

I assume it is a toggle type looking at the base , but could be wrong . Photo of the top would help .
