with the wide separation between the shafts/props on this design why would anyone need a bow thruster?
Anyone?

I would give my left arm to be able to do work like this. I'm always looking for ideas to tweak my boat. My next project is the dinette coushions and I get my inspiration from pictures from this forum. I can't imagine how many hours this guy has invested in this boat.

In my opinion, to spend all that money on a gas powered machine of that size and then turn around and try to sell it for a diesel boat price is wishful thinking. The boat is beautiful. A set of Yanmar or Cummins diesels, it would be worth the money (maybe...The reserve hasn't been met yet). I cannot imagine the money put into that boat.

She's sweet but I wish them luck in recovering what they put into it. Putting that kind of money into the boat of your dreams that you plan on keeping forever with no thought of investment is one thing. Trying to sell your dream to someone else for what you spent.....that's still dreaming. I've seen this so many times but I do get it when people do it with all the right intentions. The problem is that things usually change and for what ever reason, they eventually want to sell. But they always wonder why they can't get the price they think they should based on what it cost them to realize their dream.
The only thing they may have working for them is a buyer with the money that likes the nolstagia and assumes they are in essence getting a new boat considering everything that has been done. Having said that, there are likely a lot of things that are still original/aged and you can't get away from the year noted in the hull number. And the age plays a huge roll in one's perception of value.
The real value here is that the buyer would be getting a Trojan and likely become a member of this forum.....priceless

Whoa what a price!!!!
For that kind of dough - although I love Trojans, I'd buy me a Bertram.
