Hello all, just joined up on account I just picked up a 1958 Trojan (kind of looks like a SeaBreeze/SkiBee) Can you identify?? . So by looking at the boat and by reading the history I was supplied with, I think she might have seen 5 or so seasons on the water. The rest of her life was in a garage. The motor is a Johnson Super Seahorse 35 hp and is really really really nice and clean like it was barely used, the motor is just amazing to be so old ! The prop has very little wear on it. The wood is in excellent shape for being 50+ years. Varnish is completely intact.
Update:
I got the motor running, the spark plugs were new!! The lower unit was empty of gear oil, so I filled that up. Primed it and she started and ran good. I used the kitchen garbage can to hold water as it was the only one that fit, I shouldn't have put the motor in gear as the prop cut through the plastic garbage can hahahaha. So that ended my motor testing of the day

I got a question on the outboard, the manual says water should come out the water outlet after the motor is warm, how long should that be?? I didn't see water come out when I ran it for about 30 seconds.
