I have a 1981 F32 and looking for ideas on updating walls and ceiling in head. Not sure how to handle job or what to use for material. Want to replace counter, sink, and faucet which should be straight forward I hope. I put in a electric head hooked up to fresh water tank. Now want to update head and than galley. Both in good condition but dated

We used vinyl coated wallpaper and took the original counter to my local countertop shop and they used it as a template for a new one and I used the old one as a template for the screw holes so that it was a quick fit replacement. The sliding cupboard doors were also laminated to match and I reused the old teak handles. Here are some pictures...

When I remodeled the head and galley in our F-32, I watched Craigslist and found someone who was doing a kitchen remodel and I bought the Corian they were tearing out, I paid 60.00 for an entire kitchen worth of Corian, a lot if it was not usable because of seams and such, but I had enough to do the Galley and the Head and the counters matched. I was able to install undermount sinks and single hole faucets, the transformation was incredible. at least I thought so.. :)
