Easy Electrical Question

I have a 1985 10 meter international.
The climate controller has been fried. It almost burned the boat up.
The controller is for heat and A/C, and there's two zones, one in the main salon, one in the v-berth.
The controller had a selector for off, A/C, heat, fan; and another potentiometer for temp setpoint adjustment.
When I looked behind the controller, an Eastern Marine Manufacturing unit, there were numerous jumpers from one spot to another.
I can't make head or tails of it - especially because the ends of the wires are cooked.
Does anyone know where I can get the diagram calling out wire colors and wire usage?
Or can anyone else recommend where to start?
Fortunately the summer has not been real hot here near Detroit, but Sept/Oct may be cool so central heat might be nice.
Thanks
Thanks
