Having just bought my 86 F27 this year, I am already thinking about my next boat. I am in love with the classic trojan lines, specifically the sweeping gunnels of the 32 and the 26/27. In search the internetz for all things Trojan, I have come across a few boats I've never seen before.

Are these boats rare options or converted flybridge models? The f32 is a completely different layout than the flybridge model, so I can't imagine it was converted. I am not a big fan of the flybridge and really love the look of the hardtop. Anyone have any insight or more info on these style of boats? As you all know, the amount of data on the internet related to these boats is limited.

The F32 appears to be an express model with the bridge removed.

The F32 was made both 'Sedan' and 'Express' version, with or without hard tops, and with or without fly bridges. I think by far the Flybridge Sedan is the most common variation, but the others do exist. They all share the same underlying hull and deck lines. What you are looking at here is an Express (here is a link to another one http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/ ... idgeyachts& )

The F31 you show would also be factory - ie it was also available with or without flybridge.

With both of these boats, you have a bigger cockpit space that runs from the transom all the way up to the helm, then the cabin bulkhead for going down below. The difference with the F32 Sedan is that you have a smaller cockpit running from the transom to the sliding doors, but you have a bigger interior space. The F32 Express might be a better configuration for fishing, than the Sedan, as you have that much more room to work with.

I didn't know you could get the F32 (Sedan and Express) without Bridge ... looks pretty nice, but I love my fly bridge.

Brilliant! Thank you guys. I am really loving the f32 with a hardtop. By the time I'm ready to upgrade the f27, I'll probably want a flybridge!

$4,450 option in 1978 wasn't cheap ... glad most opted for it.

thanks to this site ive learned about these rare options as mine is a F322 Sportfish model, the most common is the F321, mines supposed to be open but was enclosed at some point, also my flybridge area is smaller, I do have a lower helm added at some point from a older Trojan, docking is much trickier than from the bridge, I would not want one of these without a bridge

I have a F-32 Sedan with bridge. new twin crusaders installed 94, original owner was my grandfather. passed away last year. approximately 120 hours on both engines. has been out of the water for a few years. she can use an enthusiast. let me know your interest.

now that is WICKED COOL!!! i'd do it. as brad and i 'age', we are starting to look more and more at cockpit type boats. it's easier on the pups too.

This is my F-32 hardtop and two slips down in the background there is another F-32 express.
