Hi

Apparently the drum switch (the big switch that moves my AC from shore power to off to generator) was broken during the installation of new air conditioning. My current marina is blaming the former marina that did the actual installation. However, I need to replace it. I have a 1974 TriCabin and the switch is the brown one down in the salon. Any help would be appreciated because the marina is struggling to source it. Thanks

May not be exactly what you have, but depending on how you jump the terminals it will work.
Just replaced a 4 position switch on a friends Silverton, was not an exact match but theses switches can be made to work in almost any application depending on how you set the switch up using jumpers from one terminal to one or more terminals.

I have one that came out of a 1978 F32. Looks to be in perfect condition. Let me know.

Bubbabuda - I glanced through the photos in your photo album and came across two black switches on your electric panel. Are they the switches you were referring to? - or is that just an album of photos from your restoration? BTW, I had seen your photo album before, but after looking through it once again, I just want to say that you did a heck of a job on that boat.
Regardless, I didn't see a switch resembling my broken one in your album. Can you post a photo or possibly provide a written description? It would seem to me that the switches from my '74 and that '78 could very well be duplicates.

The switch is not in any pics of my rebuild. It was removed off a 1978 F-32 that I purchased in Texas that was canabalized to finish my 1975. The switch is 5 inches square and about 5 inches deep, slightly larger at base. Rotory switch, Gen, Off, Shore. It is white with black letters. I also has the two circut breaker boxes still connected on the wood panel.
