Oh Buoy! Looks like you're a all are nothing kind of guy.
I just aquired a tri-cabin as well, but I've set a side 2 years for fix up before I plan to put it in water, it's been neglected for a few years.
Whats the beam through the windows for? are you lifting the motors?
I'm glad to see what's under that deck so I can prepare (mentally) for mine.
I'll be watching your progress closely. Thanks for posting

The pics with the beam through the window is from last year when we pulled the motors, they just fit through through the door with taking out the spark plugs
I had planned to cut out the rot sections, which turn out to be most of it . I plan to glass the whole thing in. Will try to restore the original windows as they are in good shape, as for the hatch door I am hoping to get one made out of aluminum and paint it.

Re: Started Back Deck repair today
Great pics. I did what you are doing to the back deck and windows 6 years ago to my 73 tri cabin. I replaced the entire aft deck structure, aft cabin walls and deck. I took the windows apart (carefully) stripped the paint, powder coated them and had them reassembled. I used West Systems epoxy on the rear deck and aft walls. I replaced the transom to deck support plate and glassed the rear deck to the transom with epoxy. I might be able to answer any questions, but my guess is you know what you're doing.
Were the engines completely intact when you removed them? Can you explain how you removed them? I picture muscling them out in pieces (heads/block separately).
