Hi I'm looking for options for furniture in my 1980 Tri Cabin.I've been looking for a
small sectional sofa, but don't want to spend big money on custom. Does anyone have pictures
of what they have. I'm also interested in the built in corner units some Tri Cabins have,
how hard would it be to build. Thanks John

PO had a leather love seat, plus some folding director's chairs. Sofa came out for the re-power, and is currently in my living room, as we seriously consider installing a dinette like this:

Also looking at the Frontier. Plan is to install long axis athwartships against the aft forward head bulkhead, and railing for the forward steps. For $1200 bucks, it would be hard to make your own. You would probably not be able to buy the leather for that amount, and vinyl is barely cheaper. And, perhaps most importantly, it would be DONE in a weekend. Designed for RVs, so all the parts fit through the doorway.

About the only thing that I don't like about my boat is the lack of a place to sit down and read a (paper) chart. Call me old fashioned, but before I go far, I like to read the paper charts that I carry, instead of blindly follow the magenta line whose algorithm was programmed by a twenty-something landlubber from Olathe, Kansas. And I like to eat from a table. This would fix that, and paper-plate-in-your-lap-while-eating syndrome. Converts to a bunk, with storage underneath.

I will get a pic, I have a two piece sectional that locks together in an L. One is springed and hinges from the one end for a lot of storage and the other piece is a fold out full size bed. They lock together where they meet at the L. I do not know the brand but seems to work well. As for tables I am gonna get a set of four folding tv like tables made of wood that are stored in a movable rack that is not very large.
