1989 or 1990 Trojan 10.8 meter??

I just purchased this 10.8 meter sportfish and the title states 89 and the owner swears its a 90 and the Trojan/Bertram plaque on the hull says 1990. Can someone shed some light maybe ?

Could be built in 89 but a 90 model , If your CG documented It will show year built not model year

I put your HIN into hindecoder.com and it shows that the serial number is JL004 that was assigned by Trojan. It has a certification date of 1989. It is model year 1989 with an August build month. It may have been originally sold and delivered in 1990. But you need to go by the HIN which is what the state and CG will use when you register or document the boat.
