Trojan Emblems

Has anyone replaced/removed their Trojan Emblems? As you can see from the pictures, mine are faded and pitted. I'm not sure if they can be refinished. Also, I'm not sure how they are attached, whether held by bolts or glued on.

I believe (but cannot confirm) they are held on with a double stick butyl tape.

Thanks. I'll try using fishing line and heat to get them off.

mine were held on with a strong double sided tape. used a heat gun and putty knife to remove mine but I knew I would be painting it . fishing line and heat sounds safer.

I had mine sandblasted and then I re-painted them. Silver metallic, black with a brush and then clear coated. That was 4 or 5 years ago and they need to be re-done.

Awesome! Do you recall how you got the emblems off? What was the process to restore them?

I just used a putty knife. i knew I'd be sanding ,patching and painting so a delicate touch was not required. I would try a heat gun and a plastic putty knife, they should come off fairly easy.
