Prop Question NON-TROJAN
Hi all. I received a boat, motor and trailer from a guy as payment for an engine job. Pretty sweet. The boat is an '88 Larson 15' open bow with an '87 Merc 70. Total weight boat, motor and gear is around 1600 pounds. The engine has no prop on it. Trying to figure out what a good size would be. Any ideas? Tried Mercury's sight, but they only go back to the year 2000. Thanks in advance.

You can try contacting a older merc dealer that may have some old catalogs around . You can also contact Michigan wheel maybe they can help

You will also need a spacer behind the prop a lock and tab and a nut .

You, sir, are a life saver. I couldn't find that MW online catalog for the life of me. Much appreciated.prowlersfish wrote:You can try contacting a older merc dealer that may have some old catalogs around . You can also contact Michigan wheel maybe they can help
