anti-siphon valve issue

Hope everyone is working on getting their boats off the hard. Finally getting some nice weather in the Keweenaw; hope to be in by the end of the month.
I have a 1969 30' Sea Raider with twin 210hp Interceptor engines. Last year during the last two trips of the season the port engine started running rough and would stall after about an hour of running. Fuel was new and no indication of water in the tank. Fuel/water separators were new that season. Put the boat in storage for the winter with plans on replacing the anti-siphon valve this spring. My problem is I can't seem to locate the valve. Checked from the tank to the pump and couldn't find one. Am I blind or was this valve a Trojan option in 1969. If it's not the valve, what else could be causing the problem? Starboard engine runs fine...same fuel but different tank.
Thanks for your assistance!
