28 Trojan with 200 outboard

While looking at boats on craigslist I came across this boat for for sale. I was thinking I would send him an email to see how the configuration has worked out.

Having dealt with two f28s, that boat is not, me thinks an f26.

I agree. The boat is an F26. I'm curious what type of reinforcement was used on the transom. An inboard transom is not designed to handle the loads that would be placed on it by an outboard.

And, that will have more draft with that outboard installed.

Maybe yes maybe no. Cast iron V8 engine, tranny, shaft, struts, rudders and prop weigh a lot. Just a guess but would expect it to be 8 to 9 hundred pounds maybe more. Big outboard around 400 lbs, albeit weight is back farther, I do not believe an issue. Transom strength is the real issue here.
